Our Scroll Storage Boxes are purpose-made for the storage of scrolls and archival rolls. Specially designed to hold vellum scrolls, rolled up maps and plans. This can be made to a bespoke width to hold contents of any length. It is designed with a drop front, to minimise the risk of causing damage when taking out the contents or returning them to the box. It can also be supplied in a variety of sizes to suit the diameter of what will be stored inside.

This will allow you to store maps, blueprints, charts and even rolled textiles in a protected environment with damage risk minimised. Each box is delivered pre-assembled, meaning no fiddly construction process before storing materials inside. A hinged lid provides extra-protection for the box’s contents and convenient access when materials are required. It also features a drop front to facilitate the safe and careful storage or removal of potentially delicate, valuable items.

You have a choice of a solid 1000 micron board option or an extra-robust 1300 micron board, though both will provide long-lasting archival material protection. Each box meets the industry standards for the preservation and storage of archival materials. They are made from specialist acid-free and lignin-free board, helping to greatly reduce the impact of harmful atmospheric causes of deterioration. There are also considerable advantages of buying your boxes from us because we manufacture them ourselves. This means we can deliver completely bespoke sizes to suit your needs and can even supply non-standard box colours. Each will be delivered directly from our factory in Birmingham to your location.
