Single Skin PartitioningSteel partitioning is suppled as either single or double skin. Single skin steel partitioning is used for a number of applications, offices, walkways, and creating segregated areas. Single skin panels are usually supplied 1000mm wide with standard heights of 2400mm, 2700mm and 3000mm. However, in fill panels can be supplied where required and special height panels are also available. Doors are available as single or double side hung and single or double sliding. Single skin panels are bolted to the floor, meaning the are easy to relocate, and can be either solid, mesh, half mesh or half glazed. The panels have a flush external side, whilst the jointings are on the internal face. Typical panel configurations include: FULL HEIGHT SOLID STEEL Single skin partitioning features: • Panels are factory manufactured, reducing installation time Double Skin PartitioningDouble skin partitioning is ideal for creating high quality environments, where sound reduction and insulation is a requirement. Double skin steel partitioning is used where additional features over and above single skin is required. It is used to create offices and other working environments where sound and thermal insulation are desirable. This type of partitioning is also used to create testing facilities, laboratories, production offices, break out areas and has a less industrial look than single skin and can therefore be used to enhance areas where a semi-permanent construction is required.
